Purpose of the data:

Personal data is collected by CAR for a number of purposes. These are explained below.

  1. Sending newsletters: CAR sends out newsletters via e-mail. These newsletters are on the one hand commercial and on the other hand focused on knowledge sharing. Your first name and e-mail address will be collected via the appropriate form on the CAR website. In addition, you can be asked orally or textually to sign up. 
  2. Contact: Your data will be collected when you contact CAR via the website. However, this form only asks for the necessary information to be able to offer a proposal or a service, such as your name, company name, e-mail address, telephone number. To send an order we also need your address details. 
  3. Analytics: The CAR website collects your data to improve the website. This is done with Google Analytics. These data are anonymous and are therefore not tied to your personal data. Think of information such as the duration of your website visit or the pages you visit a lot. All data will only be processed with your explicit permission or to implement the agreements that are entered into.


The data received and processed by CAR are managed by:

  1. Mailchimp: The newsletters are sent with Mailchimp. The moment you sign up for the newsletter, your e-mail address and first name will automatically be saved in the appropriate list within Mailchimp. 
  2. Google / Gmail: The email from CAR is hosted by Hostnet. If you contact us via the forms or via e-mail, these e-mails will be stored on Hostnet's servers. 
  3. CM Specialist: The website and back-ups of the website are hosted by WPEngine. Data that you leave on the CAR website are stored on the WPEngine servers.

Storage period:

Your data will be retained by CAR for a longer period of time, but will never be longer than necessary for carrying out activities, unless we have to keep your data for longer because of a statutory regulation.

  1. Sending newsletters: Your e-mail address and first name are stored in Mailchimp. The storage of your data is for an indefinite period of time. You can deregister whenever you want via the link at the bottom of the newsletters or by sending an email to . 
  2. Contact: The moment you contact CAR via mail, the data you send, such as your name, company name, and e-mail address, will be stored on the mail server. Those e-mails will be saved up to a maximum of two years. 
  3. Analytics: The data collected by Analytics on the website is anonymous, so not linked to your name, company or e-mail address. This data is stored indefinitely within Google Analytics.


No physical copies of your personal data will be made. Your data is only managed in the aforementioned systems and software. The personal data managed by CAR or by the aforementioned third parties can only be accessed via the above software and protected by a password and where possible with two-step verification. In this two-step verification, a code is generated from the software and sent to CAR. This code must be used during the login process. The devices that open your data are each also locked with a password and / or fingerprint. The number of devices that have access to your data is limited to only the necessary devices.
